VIVA LAThe world is whole, unified, harmonious. Under the auspices of the Varschein Empire and his royal majesty Cladius Varschein II, the world has entered an age of untold peace and prosperity. The Flying Isles of Esthere have entered a new age, one in which technology reigns and wealth flows without cease. At least, that is what they would have you believe. For those of privilege, the world is an endless parade of pleasure and joy, where every need and desire is met in an instant. For everyone else, the world is a cruel place of brutal oppression, where slavery and exploitation run rampant. To fuel the excesses of the ruling class, the commonfolk are trodden under the steel boot of the empire. For a century, the people have been beaten down, exploited, bloodied and buried without care. And today, we rise up in rebellion. So come, hoist your sails and raise flags black as night. Our time is here, and we will not rest until the Empire falls. Viva La is a panfandom OU/AU hybrid game based on Skies of Arcadia and the Trails / Kiseki series that takes place in the Flying Isles of Esthere, a world of endless sea where the continents of the world fly high in the sky. Players will take on the role of the Crimson Corsairs, an alliance of rebels working to topple the Empire’s dominance. AU characters may exist as characters born and raised within the world, whereas OU characters have been brought under the Empire’s heel through use of the Servant’s Gate and have been liberated by the Crimson Corsairs. |
