I do indeed intend on roleplaying the sword as the spirit within has a bit to say, although the only one who can hear them is the Medicine Seller.

The sword does have abilities, but considering it can't use most of them in Esthere, the only noteworthy ability I can think of is similar to the scales; it can detect malicious spirits and chatters its ornamental teeth.

Otherwise, it's a very decorative sheathed sword that will be used as one.
