Hello! I've got a couple of questions, mostly about powers :3
1. I'm interested in apping an OU character from a setting where magic use causes a buildup of a kind of metaphysical impurity that has a deleterious effect on the health of the user; the risk can be mitigated but not removed by the use of a magestone, which filters it out and allows it to dissipate afterwards, provided they don't use so much magic at once that the magestone's capacity is overwhelmed. This is a difficulty I'd enjoy playing with, but obviously one that doesn't exist with the setting's magic. Can I assume this issue is innate to my character's physical body somehow, or would it be feasible to come up with an equivalent with the setting's magic? Or would it make the most sense to just discard it?
2. About hypnosis! "These powers will not work against normal PCs or powerful enemies, as their wills are too strong." SO...what if a character is canonically not strong willed enough to resist mind control and it happens to them, like, frequently. Should I just assume all mind control that happens in game is too weak to work on him anyway despite his textually wide open brain pan, or can I allow other PCs to stick their hands in there if it comes up?
3. This is really just curiosity rather than something with much impact on how I'd app or play a character, but: are the Empire's weapons of war exclusively used against the Crimson Corsairs? How frequently do they have to put down other, non-affiliated rebellions? How recently did they complete their total conquest of the known world?
