This game sounds amazing! I apologize for bombarding you with questions.

Game questions

1.) Can a player bring more than one character from the same canon? If so, what would the rules be for that?

Regarding villains specifically, could you choose a villain from the same canon as your current character, with the intent to have them join the Crimson Corsairs after their time as a villain?

2.) Do villains start out as servants just like OU characters? Do they have to work their way up to working for the Empire by staying loyal instead of escaping, or do they start with more freedom at the beginning?

3.) Are there going to be multiple villains at a time or one every three months? If there are multiple villains, can they work together during missions or is the idea for PCs to only have to deal with one villain at a time?

4.) Do OU characters escape or get rescued by the Crimson Corsairs right away, or can you choose to have your character stuck as a servant at the start of the game?

Character specific questions

5.) It says that every living being in the world naturally absorbs Ether. Can that apply to OU characters as well? Sirius is a being made of magic which is tied to his human soul and his magic feeds on the residual magic in the air, similar to how the people here absorb Ether. How much magic he can absorb affects how much magic he can use so I'm trying to get an idea of his power level here.

6.) Sirius's magic is rejected by his world and it is slowly damaging it. It comes from another magical dimension and the world can only handle a small amount of his magic, specifically only eight people having magic at a time, without it disrupting the laws of the world. It would take hundreds of years to do any real damage but it might still be considered game breaking. Would he find the same friction in this world or would his otherworldly magic be accepted by this world?
