My question is in regarding the battle damage a character with fake/synthetic/artificial skin might receive. In the case of the T-800, its skin is designed to regenerate damage over time (according to the film, though it doesn't really cover a period of time significant enough to show this), but could an infusion of Ether/healing magic accelerate the process, and what kind of limit are we talking? In the first film, the Terminator pops out one of its fake eyes after it becomes too damaged in a car crash. Could healing magic cause it to regrow or would its own regenerative systems have to grow a new eye for it?

And finally, were the T-800 to be completely denuded of its skin and go full Skelebot, would it be possible to restore at a later date? Supplementary materials suggest infiltration Terminators have some kind of artifical circulatory system/heart that keeps blood or a blood equivalent pumping to maintain the flesh from rotting. Would the presence of such a system be enough to restore the Arnold look? The idea of getting to play with a sun's out, hyperalloy's out-look Terminator is a tantalizing prospect, but only if I can be assured that it wouldn't be permanent. XD
